Although this work was written to order, thanks to Dvořák’s incredible invention and compositional mastery, it enjoys constant popularity among professional singers, amateur choirs, but above all among listeners. Moravian duets, with their melodiousness, lyricism and charming folk lyrics, are a constant in Czech music.
