Festival Gallery: Tereza Štětinová — There Is Only One Art

This year, the Festival Gallery presents the sculptural work of Tereza Štětinová. The exhibition, titled “There Is Only One Art”, reminds us that artistic creation does not have to be bound by categories, disciplines or established labels, but can above all be an authentic expression of sensitivity, perception and a distinctive artistic language.

In a place deeply connected with Leoš Janáček, Tereza Štětinová’s works enter into dialogue with nature, the elements, folklore and the musical memory of Hukvaldy. The artist works with a reduced visual language, clear motifs and original materials, allowing their natural qualities to come to the fore. Where one might expect description, a sign appears instead. An open space for perception, connections and personal interpretation.

The exhibition invites visitors to encounter art that is neither mechanical nor unambiguous. It is sensitive, focused and attentive. Like Janáček’s music, it emerges from the concrete world, yet reaches toward a deeper experience that can be read, perceived and felt.

The exhibition opening will take place on 7 June 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Hukvaldy Courtyard as part of the 76th Leoš Janáček International Music Festival.
