06 Oct Announcement of GENERATION 2021
Starting today, the new year of the GENERATION composition competition – the international competition of composers under the age of thirty – opens. This year is exceptional in that it is the jubilee 10th year! During the 10 years of its existence, many young talents passed through the competition, the works spoiled with originality, quality and were also proof of the hard work of the competitors.
The jury headed by prof. Milan Báchorek, a great personality of the Czech composing scene, annually evaluates the submitted compositions and confirms the ever-increasing quality of work that the contestants send to the GENERATION competition.
The uniqueness of the GENERATION competition – international competitions of composers under the age of thirty also lies in the connection of all Visegrad Four countries and competitors, as well as the international jury, have the opportunity to compare the work of individual countries and then meet together at the concert of the winning works of the GENERATION competition.
