Opava, kostel sv. Václava (St. Wenceslas Church)

Not even Johann Sebastian Bach did compose only the religious music as show cantatas presented today. The first one was composed on the occasion of death of Christiane Eberhardine, wife of August II, the Duchess of Saxony, and the Queen of Poland. The other one was composed as a congratulatory piece for the birthday of Maria Josepha who also was the Duchess of Saxony and the Queen of Poland. Authentic performance of the Wrocław Baroque Ensemble promises an exceptional experience.
